The WILLIAMS LAKE SPORTSMEN’S ASSOCIATION is a non-profit group dedicated to the preservation of hunting and fishing hobbies. We cherish our shooting sports. We believe in the wise use of our natural resources of fish and wildlife so future generations can enjoy the same experiences as we have today. We believe that adequate habitat has to be maintained so there are harvestable numbers of fish and wildlife

SOME CHANGES COMING YOU SHOULD KNOW

DOES YOUR GUN COLLECTION MATTER ENOUGH TO YOU?

The governing Liberals pledged to introduce new rules during the campaign that would give cities more power to restrict and ban handguns, review rules on how guns are sold, banning the semi-automatic firearms and mandatory buybacks for legally sold assault-style guns.  They are moving ahead and Minister Blair admits that he would use an Order in Council.  This will effect all of us to some degree, as a responsible firearm owner or as a taxpayer.
