2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

MONDAY APRIL 25 2022 AT 7:00 pm

Elections will be held and proposed amendment to the By-Laws (see below)

* Again, we will be subject to Provincial covid-19 restrictions in order to have as many attend as possible *

NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION

OF THE WILLIAMS LAKE SPORTSMEN’S ASSOCIATION
(the “Association”)

The following special resolution will be proposed for approval at the Association’s Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday April 25 2022, commencing at 7:00 pm (1900 hrs) at the Association building situated at 920 Bond Lake Rd Williams Lake BC.

Amendment to the By-Laws

CURRENT

PART 13 – BY LAWS
97. Any member of the Society is entitled to a copy of the constitution and by-laws upon
paying the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). Copies of the by-laws will also be available for
viewing and downloading on the Society’s website free of charge.
98. These by-laws shall not be altered or added to except by special resolution.

PROPOSE

1 – THAT Part 13 – By Laws be amended by deleting:

“… to a copy of the constitution and by-laws upon paying the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). Copies of the by laws will also be available for viewing and downloading on the Society’s website free of charge.”

2022 AGM FOR JANUARY POSTPONED

At the BoD meeting Monday January 10 2022 the Board considered the present and possible Covid-19 restrictions that would be in place on Monday January 24 2022 and the impact upon the Annual General Meeting.

Therefore the decision of the Board is to POSTPONE the AGM into April 2022 when other options may be available.

The ANNUAL GENERAL meeting will be held on Monday January 24 2022 at the club house located at 920 Bond Lake Rd Williams Lake BC.

Board of Director elections will take place as well as other important items.

COVID-19 NOTICE: Provincial Health Orders effective on that date will apply. As of January 08 2021 the requirements were:

Everyone must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Venues must scan proof of vaccination QR c odes for entry
Everyone must wear a mask indoors
Dancing is not permitted. All spectators must be seated (Aww, I was looking forward to dancing)

Indoor events at venues can only have 50% capacity, no matter the size. (I believe we are allowed 120 occupancy so 50% of that)
